Tileyard London Would Like To Thank Tileyard Impact For Three Amazing Years Of Youth Support And Engagement.

go back

In 2018 the world’s largest creative industry community, Tileyard London, launched Tileyard Impact, an innovative programme designed to help benefit the local community by providing creative industries training and employment for those primarily from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Led by industry veteran Wizdom Layne and executive director Savannah Simms, in the three years since its inception, Tileyard Impact has helped hundreds of young people with access to employment, mentors, training, seminars, masterclasses and real-life hands-on work experience within the Tileyard creative business community and beyond.

As of 1 November 2021, Tileyard Impact will become ‘Impact CIC’, continuing their great work and expanding their horizons beyond Tileyard, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the amazing work they have accomplished with us, and the many opportunities they have created for their students over the last 3 years.

Wizdom and Savannah said: “We have had an amazing time as part of the Tileyard branded family and look forward to continuing to be a part of the Tileyard Community as we continue to work with a number of businesses based at Tileyard including 2020 Audio and MOBO.

We are immensely proud of the work we have done over the last 3 years placing 30 young people into employment including placements at Spitfire Audio, Graduation Records, Your Army, Blundell Studios, Ginx TV, 13 Artists and the new Tileyard receptionist who have all come through the Impact program.

We have and will continue to be a bridge between creative talent and creative careers as the independent ‘We Are Impact CIC’.

We would like to thank Paul, Nick, Lucy, Jack, Dan Haigh and Chris Lovegrove for their support of our work over the years and helping us build Impact to serve so many young people and provide an access point into the creative industries for those who do not have access to those networks.”

The whole Tileyard Team would like to extend a very special thank you to Wizdom and Savannah, wishing them every success on the next chapter of Impact CIC.

Tileyard London are also excited to announce the continuation of their local, youth and social outreach programme set to launch in 2022, including new and exciting collaborations and partnerships, more information to come very soon!
