We caught up with Hale Zero – Fashion’s Dynamic Composers & DJs – who have rejoined the Tileyard London community.
For those who don’t know you already, could you introduce yourselves and tell us a little about what Hale Zero do?
We are three brothers who work in the fashion and luxury industry as composers and DJs. Our composing work is mainly for fashion films and runway shows and we DJ at fashion parties in London, Paris and Milan. These could be anything from in-store product launches to fashion show after-parties.
You were a part of the Tileyard Community a few years back, what inspired you to rejoin the community?
We were looking for a new studio for about 6 months and couldn’t find anything that had the right feel. We had always loved being a part of Tileyard previously and thought why not give it a try and see if anything was available. Within a couple of weeks Nick Keynes found us the perfect room.
Hale Zero has worked on some amazing projects such as The British Vogue x Nike collaboration and the Dolce & Gabbana x Kim Kardashian Campaign, what are your favourite projects you’ve worked on?
The Dolce and Gabbana film was a lot of fun to work on. We loved working on a Louis Vuitton fashion film last year as well. We’ve recently scored the music to a documentary on the model Eva Apio which was fun. Some of our favourite DJ gigs have been the Bafta awards, Brit Awards, Edward Enninfuls wedding and a recent Givenchy perfume launch. Also Vogue summer parties are always great fun play.
Do you have any exciting things bubbling away under the surface you can share with us?
We’re currently working on a series of fashion ep’s that will be used on fashion films. Most of the singers for the project will be fashion models. We’ve also got upcoming DJ gigs for Lacoste, the Formula 1 summer party, Dior, Victoria Beckham, Vogue Summer party as well as others.
