Founder of Human League, Illustrious Company and Tileyard Education Principal, Martyn Ware, has recently announced the release of his Autobiography.
In his book, Martyn guides us through his path to stardom, starting from his upbringing and close teenage friendship with former-bandmate Phil Oakey; his success with Glenn Gregory and Ian Craig Marsh with Heaven 17 and his production career.
During his remarkable career, he has written, performed and produced two Human League, two BEF and nine Heaven 17 albums! He has featured in recordings totalling over 50 million sales worldwide, producing amongst some of the biggest names in the industry such as Tina Turner, Terence Trent D’Arby (now Sananda Maitreya), Chaka Khan, Erasure, Marc Almond and Mavis Staples.
In 2020, Martyn Ware also started his podcast series Electronically Yours where he talks to famous artists from the worlds of music, art, film, comedy, TV and creativity that he’s encountered during his 40-year career.
