go back

Tileyard Resident Prash ‘Engine-Earz’ Mistry has recently appeared on an exclusive ‘Inside Track’ feature in Sound On Sound magazine and talks about his new studio, Forwa3DStudios, shares his mixing and mastering insights and how he collaborated with Kali Uchis and her team.

Prash is a mixer and mastering engineer who has worked with well-known artists such as The Prodigy, Jorja Smith, Wizkid, Stormzy, SZA, Kid Cudi, D4VD, Skepta, Megan Thee Stallion, St Vincent, H.E.R. and Aitch, to name a few.

His new studio contains the best equipment money can buy, including Kii Audio Three BXT monitors, a full Amphion Atmos system, and an extensive collection of mixing and mastering outboard.

In 2018, Prash received his first Grammy nomination for Best Immersive Audio for his album Symbol, released under the name Engine-Earz Experiment. His latest work includes mixing Raye’s hit album My 21st Century Blues in Atmos with his colleague Lavar Bullard. He also mixed nine songs and stereo mastered and Atmos mixed all 15 on Kali Uchis’ latest album Red Moon In Venus, which was released in March and has already been a big hit in the US. Prash’s work on this album, and the track “Fantasy” ft Don Toliver in particular, is the focus of the ‘Inside Track’ in Sound on Sound.
