Small Green Shoots was founded in 2009 with the aim of giving young people from disadvantaged backgrounds an opportunity to engage with music and the arts, and to use these experiences as a springboard for their future.
Small Green Shoots run Artist Network events twice a year with a specific theme chosen by our shoots and artists. The evening is to support emerging artists and give them advice on the theme to support their career development. The evening consists of a panel discussion, live music and meeting other artists with the hope they can continue to network with each other and use their skills learnt to develop their careers moving forwards.
This year’s Artist Network event will be held at YouTube on Thursday 26th September 2019 with a focus on releasing material online and developing content for YouTube and other social platforms to help increase your following with a panel discussion (artists to be announced), performances and DJ. There will also be an opportunity to be shown the YouTube Studios by their production team with a workshop on how to use their equipment and a workshop on how to create a channel.
