Tileyard Sponsors Birmingham Music Awards

go back

We are proud to announce that Tileyard London, Tileyard Education and Tileyard Music are sponsoring the Birmingham Music Awards.

Jo Jefferies and Simon Pitt are a two person team, and are the driving force behind the fastest growing emerging talent support networks in the UK. The Birmingham Music Awards is one of the fastest growing emerging talent support networks in the UK. Their annual award ceremony hands out awards to local, emerging talent, and their monthly networking events invite the Birmingham music scene to connect, collaborate and grow.

Tileyard is excited to be partnering with the BMAs to support the next generation of Birmingham artists to develop their careers in music. Throughout the course of 2020 the core Tileyard brands will be working alongside the BMAs to bridge the gap between the Birmingham and London music scene.

In 2019, Tileyard Education sponsored the awards and Martyn Ware, the principal of Tileyard Education, presented the award to Sam Hollis for the Best Album. Sam was also offered a place on one of Tileyard Education’s songwriting camps.

This year Tileyard is sponsoring four of the BMA Music Networking Events, and will be attending the awards ceremony on the 28th May 2020. Tileyard Music will choose the winner of the Rising Star Award and offer the winner a place on one of their writing camps, will receive ongoing support from a Tileyard mentor, receive a full day recording in TYE London, Tileyard Education’s commercial recording studio, and receive offers, discounts and free tickets to Tileyard Education events.

Tileyard London resident CD Baby were the headline sponsors of the BMAs in 2019. The online music distributor offered distribution and publishing administration to all BMA 2019 nominees, as well as an enhanced bursary package to the Rising Star category nominees. CD Baby will also be sponsoring the 2020 BMAs.

The next BMA Music Network Monthly event will take place on Thursday 27th February. Reserve a FREE ticket here
