Tileyard Education songwriting camps are renowned creative retreats for rising and established singer-songwriters and producers to connect and write hits, responding to live briefs.
The songwriting camp will be their first in Yorkshire and will be located at the picturesque Waterton Park Hotel. The camp will run for five days between 16-21 August, and will conclude with an exclusive live playback session. An ideal staycation and creative retreat, with its rolling parkland and private lake.
Past Tileyard Education songwriting camps have produced some major successes, including multiple tracks picked up by Love Island USA and Coffee & A Coke written for PS1 which gained 250k streams in its first week.
During the camp, songwriters are divided into groups with pro-producers, including Ed Heaton (Feelgood Music), Andrew Potterton (Universal, BMG, BBC), John Beck (Tasmin Archer, Corrine Bailey Rae) and James Wilkie (INDEX Festival, Sonic Artist). Groups will work by responding to live commercial briefs across music, TV, film, or advertising, all songs will be pitched to major A&R teams. All participants also retain full ownership of their copyrights and masters.
The £1,550 fee includes accommodation (shared), breakfast, and lunch. Installments are available.
